Foundation Scholarships

2026 Deadline:  May 1, 2026. 

Scholarship description:  Foundation scholarships are for one academic year and typically provide individual awards ranging from $500 to $4,000.  Foundation scholarships are for studies at accredited two or four year institutions.   Priority is for scholarships for full-time study.  Part-time study scholarships can be considered based on credits planned and taken:  3 to 6 credits, up to $500; 9 credits, up to $750.  NEW:  Accredited graduate programs can also be considered.  Loren and Betty Schrock Education Fund scholarships and grants are also available for accredited one and two year trade and technical programs and technical/professional certifications and associated program expenses ranging from $500 to $2,500.  Schrock scholarships and grants are also awarded annually.  NEW:  All programs are available for Active and Senior DeMolays through age 30.  Application can be made annually for continuing programs.

Scholarships are awarded based on DeMolay service, financial need, and academic merit after review of an application, transcripts, FAFSA reports and letters of recommendation.  Recipients are announced at the annual Oregon DeMolay Convention.

If mailing, be sure to notify office@ordemolayfoundation.org to watch for arrival in the mail.  Mailing can result in delivery delays and applications have been lost through mailing.  Please use online or email submission.
